Reading
A slow reading group for Alice Holzhey-Kunz's book "Suffering from One's Own Being"

A long-term, open-ended slow reading group where we gently explore together the unique paths of the Dasein-analytic approach to the psyche, human nature, and existence.
We gather to unhurriedly understand how the concepts of Dasein-analysis can breathe life into therapeutic practice within the safety of the therapy room. The group unites practicing professionals wishing to deepen their roots in the phenomenological approach, as well as anyone drawn to this meaningful theme. A basic understanding of phenomenology, ontology, and hermeneutics is welcome but not required—our text simply asks for a mindful, thoughtful reading.
Meeting Format
During our meetings, we read the text together; no prior preparation is needed. The book will be provided to participants in electronic format. This is an open group: you are welcome to join us at any point, and missed sessions do not require payment. After each meeting, you will receive a recording and a link to a document with additional reading materials on Dasein-analysis.
Time & Frequency
The group began its journey in January 2026. We meet once every two weeks on Wednesdays from 12:45 to 14:00 (Moscow time). We gather on the Yandex.Telemost platform (or a similar space).
