Biography

My journey into psychology began with a deep interest in the human experience—how people navigate life, find meaning, cope with challenges, and continue to move forward. This interest arose not only from academic settings but also from personal exploration: experiencing a crisis of meaning at an early age, I turned to philosophy and realized it was a path of lively inquiry into human life. In 2017, I obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn. Even then, it was important for me not only to study psychology as a science but also to seek a philosophical understanding of human existence.

This interest led me to further academic pursuits. In 2021, I completed a master's program in cognitive science at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. Studying in an interdisciplinary environment allowed me to combine psychology, philosophy, and consciousness studies to see humanity from multiple perspectives—scientific, phenomenological, and existential.

Parallel to my academic education, I developed as a practicing specialist. For over five years, I've been working with clients in psychological counseling, currently under professional supervision. This experience has shaped my respect for the therapeutic process and the courage people show when they seek to explore what is difficult in their lives. An important part of my professional path is my own therapeutic experience: being in therapy myself, I understand from within how deeply and gently it can support a person in their crises and development. I am currently continuing professional training in existential therapy at the Institute of Humanistic and Existential Psychotherapy in Lithuania.

My professional life is closely connected with multicultural experiences. I grew up in Central Asia, studied and live in Europe, and work with people from various countries and cultures. This experience has taught me to fundamentally value the diversity of human worlds and to be attentive to how culture, language, and life context shape our perception of ourselves and the world.

I genuinely love life in all its diversity—in joy and vulnerability, in searching and questioning, in clarity, uncertainty, and becoming. It is this love of life and interest in human existence that form the basis of my career choice.

To me, therapy is, above all, a meeting between two people. In my work, I strive to create a space where an individual can be heard, seen, and accepted with all their experiences—without judgment, haste, or pre-prepared answers. It is important for me to stay alongside clients in exploring their life worlds, to relate to their experiences with care and respect, and to search for meaning together.

I believe in therapy as a space of lively dialogue and human presence. This is where trust is built. And each time a person starts to see their story anew, finds grounding within themselves, and discovers new ways of being in the world, it is a confirmation for me of how powerful, vibrant, and valuable the therapeutic process can be.
